Queensland Marine Training Services is currently negotiating a partnership with an AMSA approved training organisation for the delivery of the four courses that make up the Certificate of Safety Training (CoST) – this course is often incorrectly referred to as STCW.

The course comprises four elements:

• Personal Survival Techniques
• Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (Basic)
• Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
• Elementary First Aid

Training wil include a mix of theory and practical sessions:
