Designed for the mariner who wants to know how to safely navigate a passage our Navigation course runs over two full days. The basics of introduction to navigation are reviewed in depth. Sessions on tides, methods of position fixing, use of GPS and passage planning just some of the subjects covered. Whilst this course is aimed at the recreational mariner it is closely aligned with the requirements for Coastal navigation in the Coxswains course.
