Queensland Marine Training Services was formed in March 2003 in response to an increasing number of requests to conduct specific maritime related training. Queensland Marine Training Services has been given Yachting Australia Recognised Teaching Establishment status. All our courses are conducted in strict accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Yachting Australia or the Office of Maritime Communication (Marine Radio).

In addition Queensland Marine Training Services is in the process of writing a number of small boat related manuals, including Introduction to Yachting, Yacht Club Patrol Boat Theory Notes and Coastal Navigation. The Introduction to Yachting and Coastal Navigation manuals cover the theory syllabus requirements of the Yachting Australia Yacht Cruising Scheme.

In addition to the courses and manual detailed below we have a commercially registered 4.3m Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (Rhib) which is available for hire on a daily or weekly basis in the Brisbane region.
